Kay Porche Thibodeaux was born and raised in Gibson, LA and is a 1965 graduate of St. Francis de Sales. She has been employed by the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce since 1979.

 

Kay has worked in various jobs at the Chamber. She has served as secretary, Terrebonne Economic Development Consortium Coordinator, Terrebonne Economic Development District Commission (TEDDCO) Coordinator and currently serves as Member Services Coordinator for the Chamber. Her primary responsibilities are membership sales and retention and coordinating events such as General Membership meetings, Morning Call, Business After Hours, Annual Banquet and the much anticipated inagural Golf Tournament. She has served as Leadership Terrebonne Coordinator since its inception in 1993 and is a 1995 graduate of Leadership Terrebonne.

 

Kay has attended several National Association of Membership Developers conferences out of state. She is a member of the following organizations: Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce representing Leadership Terrebonne; Leadership Terrebonne Alumni Association, Women’s Business Alliance and Houma Rotary Club. She served on the Leadership Terrebonne Alumni Board for six years and held the offices of Secretary and Treasurer.
