Mr. Thibodaux joined Synergy Bank in December 2005 as the bank's Accounting Manager. In his current capacity as Operations Officer, Gerald is responsible for overseeing the Accounting, Deposit Operations, and Electronic Banking areas of the bank. He is a CPA and earned both his B.S. and MBA degrees from Nicholls State University. Gerald resides in Thibodaux with his wife, Cheryl, and their two daughters.

Mrs. Sarah ‘Sallie' Preston has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Synergy Bank. She joined Synergy Bank in March 2008 as the bank's Human Resources Director. Mrs. Preston has over 38 years experience in Human Resources, with the last 8 years being in banking. She is a Certified Professional in Human Resources; an active member of the National Society for Human Resource Management, and the local Bayou SHRM chapter.
