The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Coggne, the premier learning Management System (LMS) and online training marketplace, to facilitate the purchase of popular online training courses from the company’s vast online library. Members can access Coggno online training courses directly through the Chambers new website, and purchase as few or as many courses as needed.

Louisiana is considered one of the most obese states in the nation, and the problem has grown increasingly costly for employers who pay for health care.

Whisper Weight Loss Center opened about two years ago in Houma and offers a very specific type of weight loss program, shunning prescriptions while focusing on specialized nutritional advice and lifestyle changes. Chamber banquet speakers share common theme

If there was one theme that permeated the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce’s 85th annual banquet, it was perseverance.

Keynote speaker former Gov. Buddy Roemer spoke of the perseverance of the American economy in the face of what he described as a dysfunctional federal government.
