The Corporate Mark of Honor was presented to Coastal Commerce Bank, which not only employs several Nicholls graduates but also facilitates the bond between Nicholls and Fletcher Technical Community College. In addition, the bank donates generously to a wide variety of Nicholls events and fundraisers, including the John Folse Culinary Institute's "Bite of the Arts” and the Nicholls Foundation's "Sponsor A+ Scholar Wine and Food Extravaganza.”

"It is indeed an honor to receive this recognition from the Alumni Federation.” Coastal Commerce President and CEO, Mark Folse, said. "We value the long-standing collaboration we have with the University and appreciate the significant role Nicholls plays in the development of educated professionals for our area.”

Coastal Commerce Bank opened in 1999 and currently has six locations throughout Terrebonne and Lafourche parishes.
