Terrebonne Parish will participate in the community-wide effort, Community Panel & Book Review on October 20, 2011. This effort seeks to promote the value of reading and bring the community together through a common conversation. The discussion program encourages dialogue about a particular book and also adopts lifelong learning and the growth and development of a strong community identity. From 6 – 8 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2011, Community Panel & Book Review will be held at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library, 151 Library Drive, Houma. Crazy: A Father's Search through America's Mental Health Madness by Pete Earley is the book chosen to be discussed. Pete Earley, a proponent for mental health reform, will be present at the event.
