The Louisiana Economic Development Department and South Central Planning and

Development Commission are again teaming up to sponsor a Business Incentive

Seminar and Clinic on Tuesday, March 2nd from 9:00 am until 3 pm at the office of

SCPDC, 5058 W. Main, Houma, LA.

The first part is a seminar from 9:00 am until 12:00 noon to give instruction on the Small

Business Loan Guaranty Program, Industrial Tax Exemption, Restoration Tax

Abatement, Quality Jobs, Louisiana Department of Revenue, Louisiana Workforce

Commission and the Enterprise Zone.

The second part of the day is a clinic from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm to learn how to complete

the Enterprise Zone Program Employee Certification Report (ECR) or the Quality Jobs

Program Annual Certification Report.

This clinic includes the following: for the ECR - the EZ Project Completion Report, the

calculation worksheet and the report showing the number of monthly jobs

For the Quality Job Program, participants will learn about filing periods, basic health

benefits plan costs and sales tax rebates.
