Music at St. John's presents soprano Valerie Francis on Sunday, November 6, at 3:00 p.m., at St. John's Episcopal Church, 718 Jackson Street, Thibodaux. Admission is $10. Student admission is $5 and those 18 and younger are admitted free of charge. A reception will follow the concert where you can visit with the performer.

Dr. Francis is an assistant professor in the Department of Music at Nicholls State University. Her award-winning, brilliant voice places her among the country's greatest performers of classical music and Negro spirituals. She holds degrees from Dillard University, the University of New Orleans, and the University of Oklahoma.
