The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the quality of life by building a strong economy through promotion of services to members, partnerships and alliances, legislative advocacy, economic development, and programs of action and value to sustain a prosperous and vibrant community.

The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and its members have been actively involved in supporting our local businesses and improving the quality of life for our residents for over 95 years. It is an action agency designed to meet the needs of our community. From government advocacy to networking events, the Chamber provides its members the opportunity to strengthen their business and their community.

As a leading advocate and champion of business, the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce fosters economic growth and development in the area and can connect you with the people, information and resources your business needs. The Chamber provides programs, opportunities and business-building initiatives that focus on the critical priorities of Terrebonne Parish.

Local, state and federal laws and regulations can have a huge impact on the ability of a business to succeed. The Chamber lobbies for pro-business legislation on behalf of its members. Committees, such as the Government Activities Committee, offer our members the opportunity to voice their concerns to the Chamber’s leadership and potentially shape the organization’s position on a key issue.

ACCE – The American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) is a national association uniquely serving individuals involved in the management of chambers of all sizes. ACCE’s mission is to support and develop chamber professionals to lead businesses and their communities.

How does my company join the Chamber?

Considering the many benefits your Chamber membership provides you and your company, joining the organization is extremely affordable. A small business with fewer than 10 employees can join the Chamber for around $250 per year. Membership dues increase incrementally for larger businesses.
