The United States Chamber of Commerce, at its board meeting this week, awarded the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce with 5-Star Accreditation for its sound policies, effective organizational procedures, and positive impact on the community.

On October 20, 2020, the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors reiterated their full support of our Parish Council and the Terrebonne Parish Recreation Modernization Task Force. This was originally stated in our August 12 letter to the Council. Considering that support, we have taken no position on the Millage Renewal for Recreation District 2/3.

We support and encourage each member of our Parish Council in their efforts to improve the quality of life thus creating a positive economic impact to Terrebonne Parish.
