Dear Members,
I am excited about the opportunity to serve you as the new CEO of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce.
I have over two decades of administrative experience in higher education at Fletcher Technical Community College, including substantial experience in managing various committees, boards, community relations, community events, and grants. I also have significant community experience as an avid leader and active participant on South Central Industrial Association (SCIA) Workforce Development Committee and on the Advisory Board for Work Connection.
My focus will be on the growth of our membership and strengthening the ties of our Chamber and our member businesses with the community. Membership growth and retention are vital to the success of our Chamber. Over the next few months, I will be meeting with Chamber leaders, volunteers and members at large to find out what areas you think we are excelling in and which areas we can improve.
I will be a strong advocate and champion for businesses in the Houma-Terrebonne community. I will continue to foster economic growth and development for the region to connect citizens with information and resources to improve wellbeing and meet business needs. I am honored to serve the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce as its Chief Executive Officer to achieve the desired strategic goals.
I look forward to working with our members, local business owners and community leaders to enhance the Houma-Terrebonne area for all who live, work and play here.
