Youth Leadership Terrebonne is a 10-day program for high school students entering into their senior year fall of 2026 who want to learn how Terrebonne Parish really works and how they can be part of its future.
Over the course of 10 days, students get hands-on exposure to local government, business, healthcare, education, public safety, and community leadership. You’ll tour local facilities, meet community leaders, ask real questions, and see career paths you may not have thought about before.

It’s fast-paced, interactive, and designed to help you understand your community—and your potential role in it.
Only 15 students can participate!Cost is $200 per student; however, scholarships are available for those students who are eligible. There is an interview process to receive a scholarship.
Summer Program Dates:
June 15th to 19th (9 am to 3 pm)
July 13th to 17th (9 am to 3 pm)
Transportation will be provided to visits and tours each day; however, students must be dropped off and pick up at the Chamber Office (6133 Hwy 311, Houma, LA 70360.) Depending on number of students on the East side, the Chamber will set up a drop off and pick up location.
